FREE SPEECH TAKES A HIT
Hello friends, Ken Baxter here and thanks for stopping by. By now you may have heard that the Biden Justice Department has sunk to a new low with the indictment of Donald Trump in connection with the January 6th protest in 2021.
Legend has it that BenjaminFranklin walked out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787, when someone shouted out, “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” To which Franklin reportedly responded: “A republic, if you can keep it.” After living through the corruption and tyranny that prompted the establishment of our great country, Mr. Franklin knew exactly how easily our freedoms could slip away if they were not protected. Sadly, we find ourselves at the crossroads today.
In an obvious attempt to silence a political rival, the Biden “Injustice” department leveled 4 charges against President Trump including conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights.
I think someone should remind the hapless Prosecutor, Jack Smith, of our precious Constitution. In fact, Democrats have contested the election results of every race they did not win in the last 30 years as is their right to do so under the 1st Amendment. Sadly, loser Stacey Abrams continues to insist that the Georgia gubernatorial race was stolen from her in 2018! If these are the new rules then some of those featured in the video below need to “lawyer up”.
The obvious question is WHY? Why are Democrats immune to prosecution while Donald Trump gets indicted? The end game is having Trump disqualified from seeking political office and out of the race, a race they know they cannot win with their corrupt, bag-of-bones candidate. They also realized that even if Donald Trump is somehow convicted (a scenario that IS possible without a change of venue from D.C.) that it would be struck down upon appeal by the Supreme Court on 1st Amendment grounds. It’s a risk they are willing to take with a state sanctioned media leading the charge. The plan, even though they all know it is unconstitutional, is to have Donald Trump jailed or at least tied up in court to inflict the most political damage possible..in theory. This an exercise in “Lawfare”, the only tactic they seem to have left.
Ben Franklin, in his wisdom knew this day would likely come, when desperate politicians, drunk on the wealth and power attained by betraying their constituents and country, would likely sacrifice our most sacred possession, our Constitution at the altar of greed and corruption. They had seen it before.
Our country is very lucky to have this man, Donald J Trump, who has been persecuted by the Democratic machine and the main stream media for the last 8 years fighting for our country, our Republic and our Constitution; irreplaceable gifts given to Americans by our forefathers, who endured the type of political corruption and tyranny almost 250 years ago. We continue to pray that those who are fighting the fight that others cannot will remain focused, strong and especially safe so our treasured Republic can survive.
